From May 4 to 6, 2018, the Caritas Sisters held their Second Meeting in the their retreat house in Goseong, South Korea. Thirty-one Juniores, coming from the SCG provinces of South Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Brazil, participated in the encounter. They discussed the theme “Today’s Youth and Religious Vocation”. There were 53 participants that included the speakers, the chaperons, the interpreters and the support staff. At the start of the meeting, the greetings of Mother General Sister Teresia was read, which Professor Isao Tyasaka, a Japanese, authoritatively commented. The young Sisters shared their emotions and reflections by exchanging creative opinions related to their lived experience of the “Charity” mission. Although it was only for three days, the meeting resulted into proposals that were rich in energy and youthful enthusiasm. It was truly a celebration of the Congregation, like a Pentecost that is filled with hope.
